The addressable fire alarm control panels are used to receive, process and record the information which comes from addressable devices. Panels form different signals of indication and control. All the control panels support the feeding of the addressable smoke, heat detectors and manual call points through the two-wired signaling line. The panels use the RS-R protocol and work through the RS-485 interface.

The addressable signaling line is used for information exchange between the control panel and addressable devices. All the addressable devices have individual address in the signaling line. The addresses are assigned to the addressable devices by means of the programmer PKU-1. You can connect to the panel up to 500 addressable devices. The control panel polls the addressable devices according to the address data base. In response to the control panel’s request the addressable device transmits a coded send about its status. The addressable fire alarm control panels record the dust / smoke level of each addressable smoke detector in %. The control of the dust level can be carried out by the programmer PKU-1, by the software FireSec Operator or by the control panel in real-time.

For medium and big projects with the number of addressable devices more than 500 and where it is necessary to make gas or powder firefighting we recommend using the FAP “Rubezh-2AM”. Download standard design for FAP "Rubezh-2AM"

The configuration of addressable fire alarm control panels is made by using the software FireSec Administrator which is supplied with the panels free of charge.
