The programmer for addressable devices PKU-1

The programmer for addressable devices PKU-1 is a small portable device with a battery 9V.
PKU-1 is used to set, check and adjust parameters of addressable devices. The list of these devices is given in the Table No.
The programmer PKU-1 provides:
- checking and changing the following parameters: address, configuration, activation delay, holdup, address number, the date of the last service, activation threshold ∆Т/t;
- only parameters’ checking: dust level, serial number, software version;
- correction of dust level after the cleaning of the smoke chamber.

The appearance of the PKU-1 is given in the picture No.1 To connect the addressable detectors a special socket is used which is on the programmer’s underside (picture No.2)

To connect the other devices you have to use a special adapter (picture No.3). The plug is inserted into the socket of PKU-1 and the wires are connected to the device which you want to program.

To turn the programmer on push any button and hold it for 2 seconds. The programmer will turn off if you do not connect a device within 20 seconds.
After you connect a device to the programmer the parameters of this device appear on the screen.
If you do not push any button within 60 seconds the programmer will turn off.
