You can connect the following equipment to the addressable voice alarm module MRO-2:
- Speakers with common resistance not less than 2 Ohm;
- Line output of audio reproduction equipment.
The module consistsof a cover and a base which form a body. There is a board with electronic components inside the body. On the front side of the module there is a LED “CONNECTION”, which indicates the working mode. There is a terminal block on the board:
- «+12V» – to connect power.
- «Out1», «Out2» – to connect speakers.
- «MS» – manual start when not connected to the addressable alarm system.
- «ASL» – to connect the signaling line.
- «RTS» – to program a voice message.
- «In» – to input analog signal when programming a voice message.

The module reproduces a voice message which has been recorded in its memory through speakers. It can be activated by the command of the FAP “Rubezh-2AM” or manually by locking contacts.
The addressable voice alarm module MRO-2 controls the line to speakers by checking the line resistance. After you turn the module on for the first time or after you change parameters of speakers it is necessary that the module records the line resistance. You should press the button on the board for 6 second after you supply power. Then release the button, the LED will shine red.
The module is supplied with prerecorded voice announcement. To change the voice message you should connect to the PC cables AUDIO and CONNECTION (See the picture No.1 for connection scheme).

Parameter configuration is made by means of the keyboard of the addressable control panels FAP “Rubezh-2AM” or “BUNS-01”. Connect MRO-2 to the panel’s signaling line and turn the power on. You can set the following parameters:
Address;
Pause duration between repeating messages (1-255 sec);
Total number of repeats (1-255).
Connection scheme see in the Picture No. 3

MS contacts are needed to provide the work of the module when it is used separately from addressable fire system. In the end of the line for manual start you need to install a resistor 3 kOhm ± 5%, 0,25 W. When the contacts are locked the module begins to replay message.
